California CCW Course (Sacramento County)
The CCW Course is conducted over a two-day period and taught by our instructors, Michael Kennedy. During day one, students are educated on the ‘self-defense platform’ which includes your handgun of choice, appropriate ammunition, use of holster, in addition to the development of a pertinent defensive mindset in accordance with personal protection.
For day two, the course highlights the main aspects to California self-defense laws and their relation to using firearms. Further instruction is provided on shooting techniques, clearance of malfunction, as well as the storage of firearms.
The conclusion of the California CCW Course includes a written exam, together with the live-fire handgun qualification.
Once The Gun Range requisite standards have been met, students will gain the award of Certificate of Qualification, which is in accordance to the Sheriff’s Office requirements.

California CCW Modification
The California CCW Modification course is a single module course which serves to assist students to achieve a particular qualification covering the topic of additional firearm usage. This can then be regarded as an augmentation to a concealed carry weapons permit.
The course is instructed by Michael Kennedy. Fee for the range is included as part of the course fee. First firearm for use in the range is also included with course fee. Additional firearms are charged at $10.00 each, and there is a limit of three firearms in all.
California CCW Re-Qualification Course
The California four hour CCW Re-qualification course is under the instruction of Michael Kennedy. This course is designed in such a way as to afford the student an education and matching skill set which warrants the renewal of a permit for concealed carry weapons.
The materials within the course have been approved by numerous alternative jurisdictions. This particular class completes the 16 hour course with a further four hours of instruction.
First firearm and range fees are included in the price of the course. For any additional firearm, the fee is $10.00 each, with a maximum of three.
Multi-State 4 Hour CCW
The Multi-State 4 Hour CCW is under the instruction of Michael Kennedy. In this course, you will gain further knowledge and training in order to ascertain the Utah Concealed Carry Weapon Permit which has been legalized by Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification of the Utah Department of Public Safety.
The permit allows the holder to carry a concealed firearm in some 34 states.
This class also works to facilitate applications made for the Arizona CCW and the Florida CCW, thereby, you will be entitled to carry a concealed weapon in 40 states.
Please remember to either bring a credit card or check book in order to cover the $51 payment towards mailing costs. Your application will be forwarded for processing to Utah Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Identification.
Sacramento and Placer County CCW Modification
The Sacramento and Placer County CCW Modification module is designed to assist you in qualifying with additional firearms that can be added to your concealed carry weapons permit. $50.00 The range fee is included in the price of the class. First firearm is included, each additional firearm is $10.00 each up to three.
