The Basic Pistol / Marksmanship Shooting Course shares the general knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. It is a 4 hour long session which includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting from the bench rest position, two handed standing positions, cleaning the pistol, and continued opportunities for skill development. Slow fire and Bull’s-eye shooting techniques will be employed, with the focus on target acquisition and accuracy. The range fee is included with the price of the class. Please bring your own firearm or you can rent one here at the range. Ammo is available for purchase as well.

He also believes in developing the 'craft' of firearms skills and marksmanship and holds current certifications in many advanced pistol classes, advanced tactical shotgun classes, and advanced carbine classes.
